2. Use of the website

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase contract or act with the necessary authorization of your parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when placing an order, including your contact details, delivery address and any billing information required.

You must not use this website for unlawful purposes, interfere with its operation or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data.

If you use a customer account, you are responsible for protecting your login credentials and any verification codes used to access it. Please notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Product information and availability

We aim to present our products accurately, including their descriptions, characteristics, prices and availability.

Product colours may appear slightly different depending on your device and screen settings. Handmade products may also display minor variations inherent in their production. These variations do not affect your statutory rights if a product is defective or does not conform to its description.

If we identify an error in the price, description or availability of an item you have ordered, we will contact you to explain the issue and discuss the available options. We will not substitute a product or apply an additional charge without your agreement.

4. Prices, orders and payments

Product prices and applicable taxes are displayed in the store. Shipping charges and any other applicable costs are shown before you complete your order.

Please check the products, quantities, delivery details and total amount before submitting your order. After submission, you will receive an order confirmation or acknowledgement by email.

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. Payments are processed through the payment providers enabled in our store.

We do not request your full card details, card security code (CVV), PIN or one-time payment verification codes by email or telephone.

Further information about the processing of payment-related personal data is available in our Privacy Policy and the privacy notices of the relevant payment providers.

5. Shipping and delivery

Delivery destinations, shipping charges, estimated delivery times and other delivery arrangements are described in our Shipping Policy and displayed at checkout where applicable.

Please ensure that your delivery details are correct. If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible.

For consumer purchases, the risk of loss or damage generally remains with us until you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. Any statutory exceptions remain applicable.

Please consult our Shipping Policy for further details.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

If you purchase as a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Where goods from the same order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period generally begins when you receive the last item.

To exercise this right, notify us of your decision through a clear statement, for example by emailing info@gouraki.gr, before the withdrawal period expires. Include sufficient information to identify your order.

You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal.

For withdrawal from an entire order, we will reimburse the payments received, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Additional costs arising from your choice of a more expensive delivery method are not refundable under the statutory right of withdrawal.

Reimbursement will be made within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed without additional cost to you. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Return arrangements, the return address and responsibility for return shipping costs are explained in our Return and Refund Policy.

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to certain products, including goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized, where the relevant legal exemption applies. A product being handmade does not, by itself, exclude it from the right of withdrawal.

These exclusions do not affect your rights regarding defective or non-conforming goods.

7. Defective goods and legal guarantee

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by these Terms.

Goods are covered by the applicable legal guarantee of conformity, which generally provides protection for at least two years from delivery.

If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, contact us with your order details and a description of the problem.

Depending on the circumstances and the applicable law, you may be entitled to repair or replacement free of charge, or to an appropriate price reduction or termination of the contract.

These rights are separate from the right of withdrawal described above and are not replaced or restricted by any additional commercial guarantee.

8. Personal data and account security

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Greek Law 4624/2019 and other applicable data protection legislation.

Information required to process and deliver an order may include your name, email address, telephone number, delivery address and billing details.

Where necessary, personal data may be processed by service providers involved in operating the store and fulfilling orders, such as Shopify, payment providers and delivery companies.

Our Privacy Policy explains the purposes and legal bases of processing, the recipients of personal data, any international transfers, retention periods and your rights.

You may contact us to exercise your data protection rights, including access, correction and, where applicable, deletion of your personal data. Some information may need to be retained to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections through HTTPS/TLS. However, no online system or method of transmission can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on the account system enabled in the store, access may use a password or a verification code. Keep these credentials confidential and do not share them with third parties.

10. Intellectual property, changes and applicable law

The website’s content, including text, photographs, graphics, logos and designs, belongs to our business or the relevant rights holders and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. Use beyond what is legally permitted requires the rights holder’s authorization.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Updated Terms will be published on this page. Orders already placed remain subject to the Terms applicable when the order was placed.

These Terms are governed by Greek law. This choice of law does not deprive consumers of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence where those provisions apply.
